Menu from Titanic's last lunch sells at UK auction

This Wednesday March 28, 2012 shows a menu given to first class passengers on the day of the sinking of the Titanic and a set of keys used by Titanic crewman Samuel Hemming to unlock the door where the lifeboat lanterns were held after he was ordered by the ship's Captain to ensure all 15 lifeboats had lit oil lamps, as part of an auction of Titanic memorabilia at Henry Aldridge and Son in Devizes, England to commemorate the centenary of the ships completion. The menu, kept by a prominent San Francisco banker, bears the date April 14, the day in 1912 that the reputedly unsinkable cruiser hit an iceberg and fell to the bottom of the Atlantic.
